This is the last soccer post tonight, I promise. There has just been so much compelling news. This last one is the Seattle-Portland match on Sunday night. I have Portland/Seattle described as the best rivalry in MLS right now. I am not usually much of a Sounders fan (the few times I’ve watched them, they just sucked), but they have been doing well in the later part of the season, sitting at number 2 in MLS West with 51 points. I bet this will be a great match to watch. If only it weren’t on Sunday (we don’t watch TV on Sundays), although Sounders home games are always blacked out on MLS Live where we are anyway. Maybe I can avoid the news and catch the archive after work on Monday.
The match is 7 p.m. PDT on October 15, 2013 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Supposedly it will be on ESPN2 and online on ESPN3, with a delayed availability on MLS Live.
